1997 Mercury 40hp outboard motor with Tons of options! This motor is the top of the line 40hp and there are none nicer !! This motor runs great with no problems whatsoever. Compression is an even 120psi on all 4 cylinders. The motor has tons of torque since it is a 4 cylinder. This particular year was one of Mercury's finest and these 4 cylinders are coveted by boaters because of their reliability and performance.The motor comes equipped with the following:

Tilt and Trim
Like New Stainless Steel Prop
New set of Mercury side mount controls
Oil injection - no mixing oil and gas, the motor takes care of it.
20" shaft
Heavy duty battery cables
New spark plugs installed
New lower unit oil
New water pump installed
